• You do not need to be flexible, sporty, or familiar with yoga — each class is designed to meet you exactly where you are
• Movement is slow and intentional: joints are warmed gently, balance is practised with care, and breath is used to help the body settle rather than push
• With no more than 10 people in the room, you will always feel seen — adjustments and encouragement come as a natural part of the session
• Over three classes, you begin to build a felt sense of what your body can do — more range, more steadiness, more ease in everyday movement
• Yoga mats and all props are provided; led by Yoganic’s wellbeing team in a warm, unhurried environment

From the moment you arrive, the pace is set with you in mind — not the idea of an older adult, but the actual person standing in the room that day, with their particular history and their particular body.
Each class focuses on the things that matter most as we age: keeping the joints moving freely, building the strength and coordination that support good balance, and using breath to calm a nervous system that often carries more than it lets on. There is no contorting, no competition, and no expectation that you will look a certain way in a posture. What matters is that you feel something shift — a little more space in the hips, a little more steadiness underfoot, a little more ease when you get up from a chair.
By the third class, most participants notice that they are moving with more confidence and less hesitation. Some find they sleep better. Others discover that an hour of gentle, intentional movement is one of the kindest things they can do for themselves each week. Whether you are joining because a friend suggested it, because your doctor mentioned movement, or simply because you are curious — you are warmly welcome here.
