Details of Experience
This 90-minute, family-friendly workshop invites participants to discover the magic of turning everyday scrap cardboard into handmade clay. Guided by an experienced facilitator, you’ll learn about the lifecycle of paper and why recycling and upcycling play an important role in caring for the environment.
Participants will be taken through the step-by-step process of making paper clay from scratch using simple, accessible ingredients. Along the way, you’ll pick up helpful tips on enhancing your clay with natural elements to add texture, colour, and character.
Once your clay is ready, enjoy moulding and shaping your own mini artworks, trinkets, or decorative pieces in a relaxed, creative setting. By the end of the session, each participant will bring home their unique handmade creations — a meaningful reminder of how creativity can give discarded materials a second life.
The family package includes up to 2 adults and 2 children. Each additional adult participant or parent–child pair is available at $60, payable directly at the merchant’s venue.
