This 2–3 hour Wheel-Throwing Ceramics Workshop introduces participants to ceramics using a pottery wheel, where clay is shaped while rotating on a motorised wheel.

Participants will be guided through the basics of wheel throwing, including handling spinning clay and forming simple cylindrical shapes. This workshop focuses on experiencing the wheel process rather than hand-shaping, offering a very different tactile and technical approach from hand-building.

By the end of the session, participants will complete ceramic pieces that will be glazed and fired by the studio.
